This is a pic of what I decided to have for lunch one day. In case you don't know, it's a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. A staple for anyone looking for a quick lunch but doesn't want to fill up too much (unless you're the type like me that globs on alot of peanut butter because it tastes sooooo good). Incidentally, my mother hates peanut butter, but her diet program sorta tells her to have at least a tablespoon for protein.
This is where I do all my PC work (the Internet, the Photoshopping, the webpage creation, MAME). Note all the video game and cartoon associated "doodads" around my computer desk. This best defines the personality of my PC workstation. You'll also notice that I Photoshopped that nasty reflection out of the monitor screen, so if it looks fake to you, then I apologize.
This corner of my room is dedicated to all the stuffed animals (and decorative accessories) I've acquired, mostly by plunking down lots and lots of money on crooked carnival games, and living within subway distance of Coney Island makes it pretty easy for much hard-earned cash to be swindled away in these games of chance. The only things that were legitimately purchased were the Mickey gloves, Sorccerer Mickey hat, and lightsaber, and those latter items will come in handy in another photo.
See? I told you those last three items would come in handy. This is just me fooling around, making use of my Disney toys (and lightsaber for those who feel the need to pick apart stuff).
Okay, this is me in a semi-serious mood. I always liked the way I look in a suit, so I had several pics of me in a suit sent to a "rate how you look" site. I think I scored like a 6.4 or 6.7. Not too bad for an unemployed computer nerd with anger management problems. (BTW, the below caption is a quote from the game Samauri Shodown: Amakusa's Revenge. The quote belongs to the character Hamomaru. Somehow, with that pic, it just fit.)
This photo was taken in 1998 at an event called The Gathering for fans of the cult Disney cartoon Gargoyles. This whole thing in this pic was a costume event. The person on the left is me with facial hair (not a good look, according to my mother, but I liked it). On the right is a fellow by the name of Eric Tribou (don't let the makeup fool you; he's in drag for a purpose), webmaster for Station 8, which is his own personal site as well as a site for Gargoyles fans. He's all right.
Okay, I lied a little. These next pics are related to each other as they're all Disney pics. This one in particular comes to us all the way from 1989 at a parade in the Magic Kingdom, at Walt Disney World. This is the first time we see Ariel, The Little Mermaid, in a live appearance. She would appear at her Grotto 7 years later greeting guests.
This one took place during an event at the South Street Seaport (I forget exactly where, one of the mall stores that wasn't Pier 17) about the time Mickey's Toontown opened in Disneyland. They had a live stage show and Disney sketch artists doing drawings of Disney characters right before our eyes. Sadly, I never got one. I had to buy mine at the parks about 8-10 years later.
These next few images are from the Italy pavillion at Epcot's World Showcase. They're players from the Carnival of Venice. They're supposed to represent 14th century Renaissance characters of Italian culture. To me, they just look like well-dressed aliens.
