Therefore, I have compiled this site of pictures of the most influential people that I have had the pleasure of minimally socializing with during my high school years. If you know any of these people, or if you ARE any of these people, please send me an email and let me know that you're out there (also check out the rest of my site while you're at it)
This was my homeroom teacher for the last three years in my high school career. I say this because I had transfered education types within the same high school. I don't know if she's still there, but I would not mind meeting with her at Starbucks and catch up on old times.
This was another friend from my homeroom, and several English classes. She also lived in my neighborhood. We spent most of our time after school in rehearsals for student-written/produced musicals not worthy of the Theatrical Department. Although we were close and she's always had something to cheer me up with during tough times, she has had boyfriends, and we've grown apart. That makes me sad. She may be married now.
This girl was also involved with theater, both student-run and faculty-run. She's had many friends like her. Unfortunately, I was on the borderline, as I just worked with her in the productions, and after they were over, we never spoke.
Here's another theatrical student. I actually met this guy outside of high school while I was working in the East Village. He seems to live there I think. Last I remember from him he bought comic books from Forbidden Planet comic book store in Manhattan. I don't know what he's doing now unfortunately.
No, this isn't Sarah Jessica Parker, but she sure could pass for her. This was my high school crush whom I shared four years of French class with. Unfortunately, she had a boyfriend. This made me sad. (I think she's also married by now, which also makes me sad.)
This was another one of my French classmates. I find it amazing that after taking French for four years, I can't speak a single word of it. Now, if it was Spanish, that would be a different story since everybody I know speaks Spanish.
This was another one of my high school crushes. This girl was much more receptive to my advances and allowed me to give her hugs. I don't think she returned the love tho'. It would be many years later before I found a girl who would show me love.
This is the dean of students. He worked hand in hand with the guidance counselors of my high school in addition to enforcing the rules. He was a great influence on me, even though I felt uncomfortable when he played "cop".
This guy was in the student-produced chaos that I was foolish enough to be a part of. He was okay, he talked to me, yet somehow I can't shake the feeling that he'd be most likely involved in sports or sports broadcasting rather than theater.
Hey, it's Inspector Gadget in Boston! No, it's my high school concert band teacher. He took us on a trip to Boston to play certain areas. Nobody paid much attention to our playing, but we had fun regardless. I considered this trip my Senior Trip because it took place during my senior year, and I couldn't afford the real Senior Trip which was hundreds of dollars more.
Now this guy, he played clarinet alongside me in the high school concert band. I liked him because we were always clowning around, despite the weird looks by our surrounding bandmates.
And here's the rest of the band, or at least the rest of my instrument section. We were on a Spirit Cruise ship that took us around the Boston Harbor. We had a world class buffet meal, live musical entertainment, and a dance floor all to ourselves. You could tell it was a very classy engagement. This definitely made our class band trip my Senior Trip to remember.
